Yoana & Breighton | Why your engagement is worth remembering too
Yoana, Breighton and I spent the afternoon exploring around the Missouri State Capitol building last weekend, getting to know each other and enjoying the gorgeous architecture. Sessions like this are always a reminder that engagement photos are such a necessary part of a smooth, relaxing, and fun wedding planning process. You get to spend some time learning what’s like to be in front of my camera so you’re not walking into anything unknown on the wedding day, and I get to learn what makes you look your best and feel the most comfortable with me.
I always tell my clients that I have more of my engagement photos in my home than my wedding photos. While I very much loved both, there’s something so special about natural, lovely photographs of the two of you that are simply a reflection of your relationship as it is right now, and the way you naturally exist together.
After nine years together, Yoana and Breighton will step into a new chapter on their wedding day. But this season of anticipation, of taking a moment to document what their relationship is like before they get married, is just as worth remembering.
And if this session is any glimpse into what’s ahead, it’s going to be something really beautiful!
